I have lived in my town of McClure for the past 19 years. I have been Married to my husband Frank for going on 22 years. I have two sons named Oscar and Gabriel. Two amazing grandkids Isaiah and Camilla. One soon to be Daughter In Law, Chelsea Bofia. My parents Ezequiel Gonzalez and Elvira Fernandez were both farmworkers and taught me and my siblings from an early age to work hard and to help out your community. My Mom retired as a worker for the Ohio Bureau of Employment Services. My Dad joined the Air Force during the Vietnam Era and then worked as a District manager for Ohio Employment services and retired. My Dad and Mom have always taught me to help others and to strive to be the best I can be. Volunteering in anything to help the Community and to always Vote. They said you can't complain if you didn't vote. I've worked in the fields when i was younger and then worked in restaurants and in the schools and I am currently on McClure Town Council since 2019. I have learned to look at budgets and try to get money for our town. I have spoke with many other towns and they all have the same issues. We need help with ADA compliant playground equipment, better roads and our downtown areas need massive improvements. We don't have the funds. We have too many issues that we need help with from our commissioners, that is why I am running to be elected. I would be honored/Blessed to have your Vote on or before November 5,2024.Thank you, Muchas Gracias.
  • We need change in our way the Commissioners help out our County in giving out grants.
  • Better Understanding of our County needs and services.
  • Our elders and our children and lacking in help in our smaller communities. We have a nice Senior Center in Napoleon but not in any other small communities. We need more services available for the Seniors and for our youth.
ADA compliant Playground equipment for our disabled children. We don't have anything available here. That is something I am passionate about. Bring back help for our baseball/softball fields so kids can go enjoy them. So much we can do to help our communities.
My Dad was amazing. He always told us kids to treat people how you want to be treated. Dont ever think about color or orientation or religion. He said its not your problem so dont worry about it. unless someone was treated unfairly then he said stick up for them.
Integrity. We need elected officials to have integrity and complete honestly.
I actually am a doer not just a on a board person. I go out and physically do it. You have to be out with the public to understand what is going on.
Core responsibility to be completely visual on all platforms of dealings with all people. To be honest and to be clear and concise on everything you do. Complete financial transparency. No backhanded dealings and definitely no fraud.
A person who cared and did her best in everything she did.
My Dad help coach softball and he was in charge of the parks in our town. He worked for free and loved it.
Tomato planter. I did that every spring for four years for a local farmer. He picked up me and my siblings to work.
A child called it. Children should be raised with love and this book make me so sad that David was treated like this from his own Mother.
Santa Claus to give presents to all the kids. That would be amazing.
Hit me with your best shot-Pat Penatar
Remembering names. I know too many people.
Accountability, Compassion for our people. Patience and understanding. Reading alot. Understanding procedures and protocols. Going out to Town Council meetings of each town and Board Meetings for special services like our Board of DD and Farm Board and Senior Centers and etc.
We actually can do alot to help our communities strive and look amazing and be ada compliant with ada compliant sidewalks and doorways and playground equiptment and bathrooms and etc.
knock knock, who's there? Nobody lol
Senator Sherrod Brown and the Democratic party
Complete financial transparency should be divulge all the time.
